The Beginning

Henrich founded Neue Cosmetic in Los Angeles, originally focusing on haircare. That same year, both his wife Sarah in LA and a close friend in San Francisco were diagnosed with breast cancer. After radiation, they suffered from severe skin reactions—burns, dryness, itching, and inflammation.
Henrich collaborated with Sarah’s radiation oncologist at Cedars-Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center to develop a healing lotion. The key formula combined bio-activated aloe vera with molecularly modified lanolin—proven to outperform FGF in fibroblast repair.
Following clinical trials and successful recovery, Henrich and Sarah launched the brand Alra—named as a dedication to radiation care.
