Who is NBCF?
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is one of the most respected breast cancer charities in the U.S., dedicated to early detection, education, and patient support. Founded in 1991, NBCF believes that no woman should face breast cancer alone. Through community outreach, Hope Kits, and life-saving programs, NBCF empowers women every step of the way — from diagnosis to survivorship.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Every October, the world turns pink to honor the fighters, remember the lost, and support progress in breast cancer care. For Alra, this month holds special meaning.
In October 2017, Alra proudly took action to support women affected by breast cancer through multiple charity initiatives:
Sponsored the Susan G. Komen Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month — one of the largest breast cancer organizations in the U.S.
Donated Alra care products to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, bringing comfort to young patients and families.
Supported the American Cancer Society’s charity run in San Diego, contributing both funds and product kits for participants.
Alra was honored as a Copper Sponsor of the event.
