Alra Lotion—originating in 1982, highlighting the brand’s history of developing gentle, effective skincare for sensitive and oncology-affected skin.

The Beginning

Henrich founded Neue Cosmetic in Los Angeles as a haircare brand. When his wife Sarah and a close friend were diagnosed with breast cancer and suffered severe radiation skin reactions, he partnered with Sarah’s radiation oncologist at Cedars-Sinai to develop a healing lotion. Combining bio-activated aloe vera and molecularly modified lanolin, the formula showed powerful skin-repair benefits. Following successful clinical use, Henrich and Sarah launched Alra—dedicated to radiation care.
